Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran Services in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated kitchen aide to clean the kitchen area, dish room, and bathrooms according to the provided schedule. This non-exempt role is limited to forty hours per week and reports to the Dietary Manager.

The position requires empathy for residents, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety and hygiene rules. The candidate must be able to follow directions and maintain confidentiality in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions, document tasks completed.
• Must be able to follow directions given by Manager.

Responsibilities

• Clean the kitchen area, dish room areas and bathroom according to the cleaning schedule provided.
• Follow established policies and procedures of the Dietary Department.
• Maintain kitchen area in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Must observe and follow all safety rules when using equipment.
• Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition or other information to the Charge Nurse.
