Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions (low sodium, diabetic, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diets
• Ensure meals are appetizing, properly portioned, and served at correct temperatures
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Assist with food prep, tray line, and kitchen operations as needed
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing team to meet resident needs
• Monitor food quality, storage, labeling, and inventory
