LionStone Care is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals in a healthcare setting, following dietary guidelines and menu specifications. You will work with the dietary team to ensure meal delivery, food safety, and timely service for residents or patients.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (culinary training preferred) and 1–2 years of cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, or food service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, or restaurant setting.
• Ability to follow recipes, dietary guidelines, and portion-control standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with dietary staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is cooked properly and presented attractively to meet quality standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in line with safety guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning and accommodate special dietary needs.
• Collaborate with dietary aides and nutritionists to ensure timely meal service and accuracy of orders.
