Morrison Healthcare is hiring for a FOOD SERVICE WORKER at McLaren Greater Lansing – 2900 Collins, Lansing, MI 48910. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available; hours vary with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns with supervisor guidance.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
