Job summary

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Lenawee Medical Facility in Adrian, MI. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving food with a focus on safety and quality.

Schedules include 3-4 days per week with possible weekends, and prior food service experience is preferred. We offer a fixed pay rate of $15.25 per hour; full-time and part-time benefits are available and progression opportunities exist within a leading hospitality

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits/vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations in safety.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follows recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures sanitation, safety and inventory procedures are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
