Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is seeking a friendly, compassionate Dietary Assistant to join the team at North Alabama Medical Center. The role supports kitchen and dining operations, maintains cleanliness, and ensures proper labeling and stocking of deliveries. A background check and eligibility verification are required.

The position is part-time with day shift hours and a wage of $15/hour. Applicants must be at least 18, communicate in English, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
