Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is seeking an experienced Information Systems Manager to oversee the hospital’s IT infrastructure and lead a team responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing information systems. The role supports clinical and administrative operations and drives technology initiatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, 5+ years in IT management (Healthcare preferred), and knowledge of HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Desirable certifications: CISM, CISSP, PMP.
• Proficient in healthcare IT systems (EMR, HIS), networking, data security, virtualization.
• Strong HIPAA knowledge and data protection compliance.
• Leadership to guide cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of hospital information systems (EMR, HIS, and key applications).
• Lead and mentor IT professionals, focusing on system administration, security, and issue resolution.
• Ensure HIPAA and data protection compliance across systems and processes.
