Job summary
Columbia Basin Health Association seeks an IT Support Services Specialist Tier I to join a cross-functional team onsite, supporting applications, connectivity, and workflows on healthcare desktops. You will install applications, configure Windows OS, and assist customers with complex IT issues while growing technically.
The role requires strong customer service, willingness to learn, and occasional travel to CBHA facilities to enhance IT services and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with at least 1 year of related experience or internship.
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years of related experience.
- Or 4 years of information technology experience with progressive advancements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Support Service Technician and IT liaison to non-clinical and clinical staff and providers.
- Take initiative to engage customers, team members, vendors, and support specialists to resolve IT issues.
- Provide first-line support to drive end-user issue resolution and assist with end-user training materials.
- Travel to CBHA facilities as needed to assist customers and improve IT ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain end-user documentation and participate in team meetings and reviews.
