Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a senior Solutions Architect to lead IT strategy and enterprise architecture for clinical applications within a healthcare setting. You will bridge technology and care, drive standardization, and document end-to-end architectural designs while guiding enterprise reviews.

You will collaborate with executives to translate business goals into architectural plans, address capability gaps, and influence technology investments across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years using modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML, ER).
• Minimum four years translating solution requirements into technical architecture requirements.
• Minimum four years in a technical leadership role (with or without direct reports).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Business, or related field; 10+ years IT experience delivering technical solutions; 4+ years in IT architecture.

Responsibilities

• Leads the architecture strategy and technology direction across technical domains.
• Defines and communicates architecture standards and guidelines to ensure alignment with IT strategy.
• Manages transition plans from current to target state architecture and mentors architects.
