Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an IT Project Manager in Honolulu to lead a construction-focused initiative. This individual contributor role executes project plans, coordinates internal customers and vendors, and aligns scope, schedule, and costs with strategic goals.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of PM experience, including IT-driven construction projects, and at least 3 years in lifecycle methodologies and budgeting. Willingness to travel to islands in Hawaii is required.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of Project Management experience.
• IT Project Management experience related to construction is essential.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with project life cycle methodologies.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience managing project budgets.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects of medium size or complexity, or components of a larger project.
• Develop and execute project plans, including schedule and resource forecasts.
• Manage project performance concerning time, budget, scope, and quality, providing input for costs and budget impact.
• Manage project financials for medium-sized projects.
• Monitor project risks with guidance from a senior Project Manager and escalate as needed.
• Manage activities related to organizational change management, such as user adoption, implementation, and training plans.
• Assemble internal or external resources, ensuring team member skills align with project demands.
• Ensure adherence to established processes and policies.
• Promote the project vision and objectives with the project team.
• Pursue self-development and effective relationships by sharing information, listening to feedback, and adapting to change.
