Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is launching an Internship Program in the Information Services department. The Technical Services Intern role offers exposure to real-time projects, mentorship, and collaboration across IS teams to improve healthcare quality and patient care.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/MIS/Cyber Security, will be rising seniors, and possess strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Rising into senior year (1st semester of junior year completed at minimum).
• Minimum GPA: 3.0.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Participates in lunch and learn sessions to collaborate on IS priorities.
• Participates in IS projects.
• Shadows Information Services employees to learn the different roles.
• Gains familiarity with different healthcare IS systems.
