Job summary

The Director of Hospital Applications at Hospital for Special Care leads the Application Services Team to understand administrative, business and clinical needs, define requirements, develop solutions and implement systems. The role manages projects, coordinates workflows and ensures timely, profitable delivery.

It requires a healthcare background, workflow analysis, and strong leadership with excellent communication across stakeholders within a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or health care field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a health care environment.
• 1–2 years’ experience with hospital applications (business and clinical).
• Ability to analyze workflow and recommend improvements.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Data analysis or data modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application Services Team from initiation to completion.
• Define requirements, develop solutions, and implement systems.
• Administer and maintain applications and databases.
• Coordinate system design, testing and implementation.
• Manage and motivate the project team and budgets.
• Collaborate with CIO and IT leadership to execute IT strategy.
