Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) seeks an IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions in a healthcare setting. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements, drive use-case development, and facilitate communication among clinical staff, management, and IT teams to ensure compliant, efficient IT implementations.

You will lead UAT, assist with change management, and collaborate across the SDLC to deliver system solutions that improve member care and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, business, health informatics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT/healthcare BA experience in regulated environments.
• Strong ability to gather requirements, develop use cases, and analyze workflows.
• Experience with UAT and change management processes.
• Familiarity with SQL, Visio, and SDLC; detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and use cases with healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain process workflows and diagrams (e.g., Visio) to visualize current and future state processes.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Support change management efforts by communicating changes and training users.
• Collaborate with project managers and IT teams across the SDLC to ensure timely, accurate delivery of IT solutions.
