Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an Information Services & Technology professional for an onsite IT project management role. The candidate will manage projects, coordinate with developers and vendors, and ensure outcomes that support patient care and the health system’s financial objectives.

The ideal candidate will hold one or more Workday certifications and have strong analytical, testing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related field required OR 8 years of work experience in lieu of degree required.
• Workday certifications strongly preferred: Workday Pro Platform Administrator Certification, Workday Pro HCM Reporting Certification, plus service line Workday Certification (HR, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.).
• Additional Workday certifications may be required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for IT initiatives and complex projects.
• Coordinate with programmers/solutions vendors to implement design specifications and timelines.
• Develop test plans and perform rigorous testing; manage budgets and timelines.
• Train end-users and IT staff using Train-the-Trainer methods and maintain thorough documentation.
