Job summary

Colorado Technical University (CTU) seeks adjunct faculty to deliver quality instruction aligned with our mission of industry-relevant higher education. Responsibilities include developing engaging materials, teaching assigned courses (including labs), and engaging with students to foster participation and success.

Faculty will connect professional experience to CTU's learning model, maintain weekly office hours, assess student work, and collaborate with advising and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management abilities with deadline discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with standard office and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instructional materials aligned with CTU curricula and outcomes.
• Teach assigned courses and related labs/work.
• Engage with students to encourage participation and professional growth.
• Relate industry experience to CTU's Professional Learning Model and stay current with trends.
• Maintain accessibility and timely responsiveness to students and staff.
• Maintain weekly office hours for student support.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Document student activities and progress.
• Collaborate with CTU teams to support at-risk students.
• Refer students to co-curricular resources as needed.
• Participate in governance and assessment activities.
• Complete faculty certification and training requirements.
• Provide documentation of licensures, certifications, and experience.
• Coordinate with Program Chair/Lead Faculty.
• Adhere to CTU policies and faculty handbook.
