Job summary

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy in Omaha, NE is seeking an Inventory Professional to efficiently manage supplies and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels and accurate records. You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory daily, perform counts, reconcile discrepancies, and use the inventory management system to process orders and credits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate General Studies and One (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience, upon hire
• High School GED General Studies and One (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory to maintain accurate levels
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas while monitoring par levels
• Identified excess inventory and processed credits
• Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
• Participates in put away and validation of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials
• Maintains clean and orderly stock locations and labels bins
