Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Order and control inventory in assigned areas.
• Ensure adequate stock turnover rate.
• Enter issues, returns and credits into the computer for all supplies and linen.
• Expedite with Purchasing items that are out of stock or low stock; communicate status to the Inventory Control Distribution Manager, Purchasing and user department.
• Update Par Stock papers.
• Maintain proper shelf labels of all supplies being stocked in designated areas.
• File requisitions and reports in an orderly manner.
• Handle Linen per Hospital Policy and Infection Control standards.
