SCA Health is seeking an Internal Auditor to perform focused risk-based audits across Support Services and facilities. You will contribute to the annual audit work plan and work with cross-functional teams to test controls and processes in a healthcare setting.

The role reports to the Associate Director, Compliance Audit & Internal Audit and requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a drive for continuous improvement and a culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Health Care Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Internal Audit experience.
• CIA certification within the first three years preferred.
• Understanding of healthcare and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, planning and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform all phases of internal audit related reviews.
• Interact with Support Services departments and facilities during audits.
• Develop audit procedures to test controls and processes.
• Provide timely communication of audit status to supervisor.
• Collaborate with team to achieve audit goals and objectives.
• Define objective, scope, and general plan of the assigned audit.
• Prepare work papers with test results and conclusions.
• Ensure supporting documentation for audit findings.
• Draft audit reports per standards and timelines.
• Meet management to discuss results and recommendations.
• Obtain management responses and correction timelines.
• Follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
