Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to manage planning, purchasing, and implementation of interior design for building, remodeling, and renovation projects. You will develop finishes standards for health facilities and collaborate with directors and administrators.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, BIM or similar 3D design tools, strong communication and project management skills, and a portfolio showing

Qualifications

Candidate must have experience working as an interior designer.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design; portfolio of design work required.
Extensive knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, BIM or 3D design software, and Microsoft Office; ability to hand-sketch.
Pursuit of professional licenses such as NCIDQ, LEED or AIA.
Health facilities design experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

Manage interior design scope for building, remodeling, and renovations.
Plan and purchase finishes, furniture, art, and wayfinding.
Consult with directors and administrators on design studies and plans.
Oversee implementation, evaluation, and revision of systems supporting professional practice.
