Responsibilities

• Verify active insurance coverage and collect facility and specimen information for billing.
• Contact insurance companies to secure preauthorization for services.
• Request and review Medical Records as needed to support authorization.
• Ensure information obtained is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
