Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to review outstanding insurance denials and verify claim status with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors. You will prepare and submit documentation to payors and help resolve disputes to keep revenue cycle on track.

The role requires 1–2 years in a related field, a high school diploma, and strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. HIPAA-compliant practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related industry.
• Strong understanding of EOBs to determine denial reasons and actions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic experience with medical billing software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10; HIPAA compliant billing.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance denials and take appropriate action.
• Check claims status via phone or portal.
• Submit Medical Records upon request and follow up.
• Submit HCFA claims to insurers that do not accept electronic claims.
• Submit Retros authorization and resolve disputes with payors.
• Collaborate with insurers to resolve billing disputes.
• Identify and correct billing errors to improve revenue cycle.
• Communicate process issues to drive improvements.
• Use payor portals to gather claim status information.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from insurers, patients, and clients.
