SOME (So Others Might Eat) seeks a Healthcare Instructor to deliver and update healthcare training for CET students in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes classroom management, curriculum development, and alignment with program standards to ensure learner progress and credential attainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Teaching or Training background preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification required; BLS (CPR & AED) Provider.
• Strong communication and supervisory capabilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Healthcare courses to CET students.
• Maintain and update curriculum per TAC recommendations.
• Prepare program manuals with lesson plans, quizzes and tests.
• Coordinate with instructors to blend content and assessments.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide guidance for skill development.
• Maintain trainee records in Salesforce and offline files.
• Plan co-teaching with Basic Education/Math Instructor for I-BEST integration.
• Support outreach to attract prospective CET students.
