Job summary

Cencora in Illinois seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to cultivate long-term customer partnerships. Under the Director, National Accounts, you will conduct sales calls and drive growth through new products and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or marketing.
• 3+ years of related sales experience in healthcare or pharma preferred.
• Ability to work across time zones and travel as needed.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact for AHP and drive programs within an assigned area to maximize product pull-through and distribution.
• Initiates proactive outreach to customers to grow sales revenue and strengthen relationships.
• Independently conducts pre- and post-call research, establishes objectives, and anticipates customer needs.
• Meets or exceeds monthly sales and activity goals with manager.
• Maintains current records of account activity, customer and contact information in the CRM.
• Partners with AHP Strategic Account Managers and National Accounts to support product access and launch information.
• Develops ideas for future customer calls and engagement activities.
• Monitors reports to measure profitable growth and implement strategies.
• Participates in internal meetings as needed.
• Reviews product reports to maintain knowledge of supply and availability.
