Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a Clinical and Health Informaticist to translate informatics science into practical healthcare solutions. You will analyze workflows, design for clinical software, and support implementation, training, adoption, and process improvement of HIT.

The role interfaces with caregivers and IT teams, applying informatics fundamentals to improve people, processes, and tools, with occasional facility rounds across the system.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of workflows in a healthcare system.
• Proven experience engaging providers, nurses, and other clinicians in learning through presentation and communication skills.
• Experience applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to impact quality and safety.
• Experience participating and leading deliverables of Informatics projects.
• Experience working with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors.
• Experience or training in the use of Continuous Improvement.
• Registered Nurse licensure and active license in state.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business and clinical caregivers to build productive relationships
• Work flexible hours to meet project requirements
• Provide customer experience and service utilizing verbal and written communication skills
• Prioritize and organize work with attention to detail and limited supervision
• Use informatics principles to support and lead moderately complex projects
• Round in facilities across the system to observe workflows and assist with implementations
