Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Utah is seeking a Clinical and Health Informaticist to advance the use of informatics to improve patient care. You will perform workflow and system analyses, participate in HIT implementation, training, and process improvement across clinical settings.

You will liaise with clinicians, apply informatics principles to projects, and contribute to technology deliverables while rotating through facilities to observe workflows and support

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of workflows in a healthcare system.
• Proven experience engaging providers, nurses, and other clinicians in learning through presentation and communication skills.
• Experience applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to impact quality and safety.
• Experience participating and leading deliverables of Informatics projects.
• Experience working with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors.
• Experience or training in Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business and clinical caregivers to build productive relationships.
• Work flexible hours to meet project requirements.
• Provide customer experience and service utilizing verbal and written communication skills.
• Prioritize and organize work with attention to detail and limited supervision.
• Round in facilities across the system to observe workflows, meet with key stakeholders, assist with implementations, and other targeted functions.
