Job summary

New Ridge Engineering, PLLC seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to design HVAC systems for healthcare facilities and coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, civil, and architectural teams. You will present system designs to architects and owners and participate in the full project lifecycle from concept to turnover.

The role requires proficiency in Revit and strong communication, time management, and the ability to learn and apply new information across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years' experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• A drive to grow themselves throughout their career.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Time and task management skills to handle multiple projects independently.
• The ability to learn new information and implement it on current and future projects.

Responsibilities

• Designing HVAC systems primarily for healthcare facilities.
• Coordinating designs with electrical, plumbing, structural, civil, and architectural designers.
• Presenting your system designs to clients, including architects and owners
• Being involved in the entire project life cycle, from concept to turnover
• Providing documentation for your designs using tools such as Revit, MS Word, MS Excel
• Working with contractors to implement your designs, including responding to Requests for Information and Submittals
• Travelling to and surveying existing conditions during design and construction project phases.
