Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Polite and courteous demeanor toward residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas as assigned daily, following sanitary procedures and instructions.
• Promptly reports maintenance issues/concerns at time of observation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Maintain facility equipment, carts and work areas to be kept clean.
• Perform inventory of cleaning supplies and notify manager of needs.
• Follow MSDS regulations.
• Abide by FutureCare's ethics and compliance policies.
