Job summary

Accolade Healthcare in Waterloo, IL seeks a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. You’ll follow schedules under the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure high cleanliness standards and hygienic conditions.

The role offers competitive hourly pay of $16–$18, a benefits package, and opportunities to contribute to resident wellbeing through meticulous cleaning and laundry duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning solutions.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff and residents.
• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules outlined by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report accidents and incidents to supervisor.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain laundry.
• Clean floors daily and perform waxing and disinfecting.
• Dispose of waste properly and relin plastic liners in bins.
• Use PPE when handling infectious materials or chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
