Job summary

Twin Lakes Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and staff spaces, following infection control procedures to prevent infections and uphold hygiene standards.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and daily pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or residential housekeeping experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, respectful and professional when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways daily following infection control procedures.
• Trash removal and proper disposal of waste per safety protocols.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in all areas.
• Laundry support: collect, sort, and deliver linens and personal laundry timely.
• Restock housekeeping supplies in resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to safety standards and use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Interact with residents respectfully while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Use and maintain housekeeping tools and equipment.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects such as window washing and seasonal sanitation.
