Job summary

Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to join our environmental services team. This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing rooms and common areas, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking supplies, plus reporting maintenance needs. You will follow infection prevention procedures and work with other departments to keep residents

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred but not required.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform routine housekeeping duties.
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and resident room necessities.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance needs and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Work cooperatively with other departments to maintain a comfortable environment for residents.
