West Tennessee Post-Acute in Jackson, TN is seeking a full-time housekeeper to support daily cleaning and sanitation across resident rooms, common areas and facilities. You will perform routine duties such as sweeping, mopping, polishing fixtures, and waste handling, following safety and infection-control guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience a plus (healthcare setting experience preferred but not required).
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Clean/polish furnishings and fixtures in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean bathrooms and remove water marks from fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and carpets in rooms and hallways.
• Discard waste into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liner.
• Follow infection control procedures and ensure equipment is stored properly.
