Job summary

PACS is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors in Oregon. You will clean public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms, using proper safety protocols and cleaning equipment.

This role focuses on attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork to support facility standards. The position is on-site with opportunities to contribute to a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies and restrooms.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, fixtures, and dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and store chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas clean and organized.
• Report resident safety concerns to the Director of Housekeeping or Nursing.
