PACS is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. The role requires cleaning public areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and corridors while following safety protocols and using cleaning equipment per manufacturer instructions.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork. We offer hourly pay of $16.00 and the ability to work independently or with staff to meet facility standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to solve practical problems in varied situations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails and remove dirt, dust, and debris from walls, mirrors, windows, and fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and operate cleaning equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Report resident safety concerns and notify supply replenishment needs.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards.
