Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a Housekeeper HCC to provide cleaning services that ensure a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff and the public. Responsibilities include floor care, room cleaning, window and curtain maintenance, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

On-the-job training provided.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep, damp mop, and mop tile floors according to center procedures.
Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
Empty trash, clean interiors/exteriors, replace liners.
Clean bathrooms, sinks, fixtures, and toilets following procedures.
Clean glass surfaces including mirrors and windows.
Dust and damp-clean surfaces in patient/resident rooms and around furniture.
Follow infection control standards during cleaning.
Remove wax/dirt buildup in corners, baseboards, and doorways.
Change soiled privacy curtains and draperies for outside windows.
Remove and re-hang curtains/draperies for outside windows using a ladder.
Move furniture to access behind/underneath areas for cleaning.
Maintain cleanliness in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
