The Arbor at Berkeley is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean public areas, sanitize resident rooms, and follow strict safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and handling chemicals.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential for exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies and restrooms.
• Sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms regularly.
• Wipe handrails, walls, mirrors, and fixtures to remove dirt and dust.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep, mop floors, and maintain sanitary housekeeping carts and storage.
• Follow safety protocols and use chemicals per manufacturer instructions.
• Operate cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• Report resident safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Manage time effectively; work independently or in a team.
