Qualifications

• No formal experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Preferred experience in healthcare housekeeping or environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, and cleans tile floors; may buff/strip/wax floors per center procedures.
• Vacuum carpets and clean rooms.
• Empty trash and maintain clean waste containment.
• Clean bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets.
• Polish glass surfaces including mirrors and windows.
• Dust and clean surfaces near beds and furniture.
• Move furniture to access hard-to-reach areas.
• Follow infection control standards during cleaning.
• Clean corners, baseboards, and doorways to remove wax and dirt buildup.
• Change curtains/drapes for outside windows as needed.
• Replace with clean liners and rehang curtains when required.
• Remove and re-hang curtains from outside windows using a ladder.
