Job summary

Copper Ridge Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and orderly areas for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean public spaces, resident rooms, restrooms, and equipment, and ensure floors, walls, and fixtures are sanitized daily.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strict adherence to safety guidelines, and strong teamwork. Training is provided, and candidates should read and follow procedures, manage cleaning supplies, and report maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Report any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing.
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.
