Job summary

Rivaya of Des Plaines in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the Extended Care facility, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. This full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package and daily pay options.

You will clean and sanitize residents' rooms and bathrooms, make beds, clean common areas, and assist with room changes and upkeep.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare setting)
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Dependable, reliable, and a team player
• Passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residents' rooms to maintain a safe living environment
• Ensure bathrooms are clean and tidy
• Sweep and mop residents' rooms and bathrooms
• Make beds and change linens as assigned
• Clean common areas, including front lobby, nurses' stations, public bathrooms, offices, and hallways
• Assist with room changes and facility upkeep as needed
