Job summary

Central Park Rehabilitation Hospital of Denver is seeking a Receptionist to join our team of patient-focused caregivers. The position runs from 11am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, in a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility serving stroke, neurological, and orthopedic patients.

The role involves handling telecommunication tasks, data entry, and ensuring patient and visitor information is managed with confidentiality and care.

Qualifications

• One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital telecommunication services through phones, pagers, paging system, radio, or computer to connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and families.
• May maintain records related to telecommunications (e.g., long distance calls, on-call employees, pages).
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
