Job summary

A healthcare organization in Atmore, AL is seeking a Food Service Worker to provide food preparation and delivery services. Qualifications

• Two years’ experience preferred in a healthcare food service setting.
• Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the patient and the kitchen, communicating all patient food needs.
• Assists clinical staff in ensuring patient nutrition care needs are met.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and assigned areas.
• Receives cash from customers as payment for goods or services.
• Provides customers with prompt service and quality products.
• Prepares beverages and food items to standard.
• Delivers patient trays during meal service.
• Visits patients to introduce food services.
• Inventories and re-stocks pantries and refrigerators.
• Cleans tables and kitchen equipment.
