Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, located at MUSC Charleston Main, is hiring for Floor Technician roles (full-time and part-time). No experience required; on-site training available. Pay is $15.00 per hour with varied shifts.

The position focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Ideal candidates will learn proper hard-surface floor procedures, use of equipment, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and correct procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager
