Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a Floor Technician in Bolingbrook, IL. This full-time role requires 2 years of floor care experience and includes, on the job, floor maintenance, restoration and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

The pay range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with PM shifts available. Benefits are extensive for full-time and part-time positions, including medical, dental, vision, retirement and commuter programs.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cares for carpets and upholstery including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
