Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Floor Tech HCC to maintain a clean environment for our patients. The role involves cleaning floors, dusting, mopping, buffing, stripping, and washing as scheduled, along with handling and storing equipment and reporting repairs.

Waste disposal and proper use of housekeeping gear are part of the daily tasks. Ideal candidates have on-the-job training and may have experience with healthcare cleaning products and procedures.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
