Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Floor Tech HCC to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. This role performs routine floor care and supports hospital housekeeping operations. Primary duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, buffing and waste disposal, plus reporting repairs and ensuring equipment is properly stored.

On-the-job training is provided and high school diploma preferred. Experience with cleaning products or healthcare cleaning is a plus.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
