Job summary

Reunion Plaza Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Tyler, TX is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform routine cleaning duties throughout the facility according to guidelines.

The role requires ability to read and follow instructions, work independently or in a team, and a resident-focused attitude. Some positions may require weekend or overtime based on needs of the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be dependable, courteous, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common areas daily.
• Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and polish floors and furniture.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and other restroom fixtures.
• Assist with room preparation for new admissions and resident transfers.
• Respond promptly to spills and emergency cleaning situations.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
