Sullivan Park Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role involves cleaning public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms, while following safety protocols and using proper cleaning equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and a background in healthcare housekeeping is a plus. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails and surfaces to remove dust and debris.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed; sweep and mop floors.
• Follow safety protocols and use caution signage; store chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment and supplies per manufacturer instructions.
• Keep carts and storage areas clean and organized; report supply needs.
