Job summary

Star Staffing is seeking a skilled carpenter to support healthcare renovation projects in the Greater Santa Rosa area. Day schedule Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm; you'll review plans, frame partitions, install doors, windows, and casework, and patch gypsum board to keep patient spaces open on time.

This on-site role requires precise layout, adherence to building codes and infection-control practices, strong communication, and safe tool use.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry skill set; healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans/specs and perform accurate measurements and layout.
• Clear communicator with strong organization, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-directed, reliable and adaptable; comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Framing, partitions, ceiling elements, flooring transitions, doors, windows, trim, molding, and cabinetry across renovation, retrofit, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Drywall and gypsum board systems, including patching and finishing.
• Modular furniture and wall-mounted equipment relocation and setup.
• Interpret blueprints/plans/specs to execute precise layouts and levels.
• Use hand tools/power tools safely and correctly; maintain a clean, safe jobsite.
