Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to assist in preparing compliance reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for Brown University Health and affiliates. Under supervision, you will help develop operating and capital budgets and support management with budget-to-actual reporting.

You will work with senior staff to improve processes, prepare educational materials, and ensure data integrity across budgeting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting.
• Health care finance exposure preferred.
• Experience with spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Experience with mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing compliance reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Support development of operating and capital budgets for Brown University Health and affiliates.
• Analyze financial data and report budget-to-actual variances monthly.
