Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced finance professional to support the ongoing management of the hospital's financial operations. The role focuses on leading project accounting, business case development, variance analysis and department budget management to drive sound decisions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with hospital leadership and other Finance teams to develop reports and actionable insights from data, and to measure new service initiatives and labor trends

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related field is Required
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Accounting, Finance or closely related field is Preferred
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a Finance role, preferably in a multi-entity healthcare environment

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the ongoing management of the financial operations of the hospital, including leading project accounting, business case development, variance analysis, department budgets, measurement and tracking of new services, and labor analysis.
Works collaboratively with entity department leaders and other Finance departments to develop and deliver management reports and meaningful insights from data to further decision making.
