Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Finance Manager to support the Director in managing financial operations within the Care at Home Service. The role acts as a subject matter expert to service line leaders, delivering financial analysis, reporting, and strategic guidance.

The position requires a Bachelor's in finance or accounting with 6 years' experience; a Master's in Business is preferred. Strong Excel, forecasting, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or related field
• Experience: 6 years progressively responsible experience in finance, with demonstrated experience in planning, forecasting and analysis
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Business and healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and evaluates the financial functions and reporting of assigned service line
• Supervises the coordination, preparation and analysis of complex financial and operational reports
• Provides overall financial analysis summaries and recommendations to facilitate services line planning
• Manages and mentors financial staff to ensure operational and financial knowledge
• Manages and validates information to support developing trends for forecasts and management decisions
• Collaborates with finance, Accounting, Decision Support and Health System analytics
• Acts as a resource for continual improvement of KPIs and operational objectives
• Stays current with industry trends, analytics techniques and financial systems
• Performs other duties as assigned
